Scrip Information:
Dear Parents,
Just a reminder that our Scrip Program continues. For our new parents, Scrip is a program that allows our school to purchase gift certificates for a discounted rate and then sell them to our school families. For example, you purchase a Bamboo Gardens gift certificate for $10.00. The school receives $.50 from the purchase, and you receive $.50 off of your tuition. This seems like a small amount, however, this does add up. Tuition credits are taken off of tuition in March and December. Each participating retailer gives different percentages to the school. Bamboo Gardens gives us 10%, Bill's IGA 5%, Cavataio's 10%, Sullivans 20% (no prescriptions), etc. A list of participating local retailers is on the scrip form.
Our National retailers are ordered on Monday by noon and are received on Thursday or Friday of the same week. However, with the higher shipping cost, smaller orders may be held until a larger order is placed to off set these costs. Unfortunately, the small population of parents that support Scrip cannot keep it profitable. Without the support of the entire St. Michael's family, we may have to end this program.
So come visit Miss Cindy in the office during school hours or e-mail your order to Cindy (form is on the SMS website) but be sure to send in your payment. We cannot place or fill an order without payment. Hopefully, we can continue this program and once again make it successful.
