Mrs. Rantanen's Classroom

 

Hello! My name is Angela Rantanen and I teach 5th and 6th grades at St. Michael’s.  This is my second year teaching here.

 

I grew up in Staunton and attended St. Michael’s as a student.  I am currently working on my Master’s Degree in Education at Greenville College and will be graduating in the Spring of 2008.  My husband, Mark, is currently working on his Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education at SIUE and will be graduating in December of 2008.

 

Mark and I have been married 11 years and we have three boys:  Carson, Drake, and Hunter.  Carson and Drake also attend St. Michael’s.  My extracurricular interests are music and drama.  My husband and I are the Drama Directors at Staunton High School .  We direct two plays per school year.

 

I am looking forward to getting to know you and your children this year!
